CONGRATS TO OUR SUPER BEARS, who bowled over the New Orleans Saints and will be heading to Miami for the Super Bowl. That is soooooooooo sweet!! THE HILARIOUS COMIC/singer/actor Joe Piscopo, whose fame evolved from being a regular on "Saturday Night Live" for many years, was in town last week, but I caught up with him by phone when he was back home in New Jersey getting his car washed.

Piscopo had three of his kids with him -- Alexandra, 7, Michael, 4, and Olivia, 2. He has a grown son, Joey, from a previous marriage. So in between the kids' screaming, Piscopo revealed the following:

He will be performing Frank Sinatra tunes and jazz standards at the newly refurbished Shimmer Cabaret Club in the Las Vegas Hilton Feb. 18-March 27. His backup sextet of jazz musicians will be headed by conductor/pianist Vincent Falcone, who worked with the late Sinatra for over 15 years.

"Getting up in the morning and having the privilege of playing with some of these cats is like Christmas every morning," said Piscopo. "I will be headlining Sunday thru Tuesday each week and will be playing different instruments: the drums, saxophone, piano and my flute. I always wanted to do this type of retro variety show where special guests will also be dropping by. I want this to be a great place to hang in Vegas."

After his Sin City run, he would like to bring the show to Chicago, a city he admits to being crazy about.

Piscopo and his wife, Kim, are divorcing after nine years of marriage. "My whole life centers around my kids. So I will continue to live in Jersey to be with the kids and commute back and forth to Vegas," Piscopo said.

The comic's Avellino Production Company is developing the movie "Joey Benefit," in which actor Chazz Palminteri will co-star. Piscopo's film credits include "Wise Guys," "Dead Heat" and "Sidekicks."
